We are pleased to announce this year’s European LASTRADA User Webinar, taking place online on April 18 between 9am and 3pm GMT.

We will share how our team and work is evolving in our office in Berlin, we will review notable developments of the past year and in the afternoon we invite you to an interactive workshop which we separate by material type (Aggregates/Asphalt and Concrete). LASTRADA User Day & Seminar

29th & 30th March 2023

Our seminar will be held online on March 29 and 30, 2023.

We have decided to hold the LASTRADA user conference online this year. This will allow you the greatest possible flexibility for your participation.

The first day of the two-day event will be orientated around the latest LASTRADA features and developments, including our mobile Application. We are honoured to host two international guest speakers sharing their insights on asphalt and aggregate production and quality control processes using LASTRADA.

The second day morning will consist of two separate training sessions geared towards specific LASTRADA user groups. Over the course of the seminar we will gather votes on which LASTRADA modules will be featured in a workshop for the afternoon.

The seminar is a great opportunity to learn about what LASTRADA can do for your organisation and to network with industry professionals.

1st LASTRADA Webinar 2021

Dear All,

Sadly, we have to announce that we will not hold a user conference this year. As you all are aware the pandemic is also affecting us so that we have to let go of the idea of seeing everyone in person.

Because we want to stay in touch with you, we decided to do a webinar instead. To ensure that every interested customer can attend, we decided to charge no fees for this webinar.

This is a free webinar offered to our users and limited guests.

On March the 25th 2021 from 9 am – 12 am CET. The following topics will be presented:

2nd LASTRADA Annual English User Conference

31st of March & 1st of April 2020 - Manchester, UK.

Our 2nd LASTRADA Annual English User Conference will take place on the 31st of March & 1st of April 2020 and we would love for you to join us at the Pinewood Hotel in Manchester, UK.

This event is exclusive for our LASTRADA users from across Europe. On behalf of the whole team of Dr. Jung & Partner, we want to thank all LASTRADA users for their participation at the 7th LASTRADA user conference on January 26th, 2017. Topic this year was the presentation of new LASTRADA features, presented by Konrad Jung. We will also enhance LASTRADA to generate QR codes. Several LASTRADA dialogues have a new appearance and improved usability. For the concrete sector, Robert Albrecht gave an introduction to the CUSUM method and the batch book concept. Besides these presentations, the participants

were able to get into discussion with each other. With 75 participants, the user conference grew again. Many participants are returning every year. On January 27th, the users were intensively trained in template design in LASTRADA. We were happy about the positive feedback the users gave us and are encouraged to have another user conference next year.

6th LASTRADA User Conference

On behalf of the whole team of Dr. Jung & Partner, we are delighted to invite you to Berlin for the 5th LASTRADA USER CONFERENCE on January 23rd, 2015. We will provide an English-speaking conference track for the first time. 2015 will be a special year – we will celebrate 20 years of LASTRADA. The User Conference shall bring together LASTRADA users from all our customers: Materials Producers, Independent Test Houses, Public Authorities and Research Institutes. We invite every LASTRADA user to actively participate in the LASTRADA user conference: Please feel free to post your favourite topic or you can hold a short speech about your daily work with LASTRADA. This is a great opportunity for a dialogue and discussion with experienced LASTRADA users and the LASTRADA developers! We would be very happy to win you as a speaker in the field of asphalt, aggregate, concrete or lab management.

With the experience of four conferences, we take care to have enough room for open discussions and lively interaction among LASTRADA users. The agenda includes several short speeches, workshops (which have been suggested by the participants) and a block for open discussions.

4th LASTRADA User Conference

On 29-31 January 2014, the fourth LASTRADA User Conference took place in Berlin. On three days, LASTRADA users visited various lectures and workshops in their respective field. Participants With 70 participants, the user conference grew again. Many participants are returning every year. The participants of the conference work in all application areas of LASTRADA, for instance in the testing of concrete, aggregates, cement, soil or asphalt. All customer segments have been represented. We are glad to welcome users from public authorities, materials producers and independent test houses at one conference. Also more and more non-German speaking users are participating. To reflect this we are planning to offer an English track in the next year’s conference.

Program
The first day was mainly focussing on the independent test houses, whereas the second day was focussing on plant labs and FPC topics. On the third day, 2 parallel LASTRADA trainings have been provided.

The LASTRADA trainings on the third day were a premiere at the 4th user conference: We had one track for users with good skills in template editing. In parallel, a course on basic knowledge in template editing was offered. Both courses were very well attended and we plan to maintain this division. Besides lectures, seminars and trainings, there was enough room for networking and exchange of experiences.

Feedback
Many participants complimented us on the presentations, open discussion and exchanges among the users. On the next conferences we will continue to facilitate a personal atmosphere and lively exchange of ideas.

3rd LASTRADA User Conference

Between 13-15 February 2013, the third LASTRADA User Conference took take place at the Inter City Hotel in Berlin. On three days, LASTRADA users from materials producers, construction companies, independent and public test houses visited various lectures and seminars on topics of their respective fields. The guest lecture of Ricarda Godenau from Mibau/Stema on the Implementation of the new EU Construction Products Regulation and the Second Generation of European Standards for Aggregates was a highlight for many delegates. Besides presentations, lectures and seminars, there was enough room for open discussions.

2nd LASTRADA User Conference

On 16-17 February 2012, the second LASTRADA User Conference took place at our offices in Berlin. On two days, LASTRADA users from materials producers, construction companies, independent and public test houses visited various lectures and seminars on topics of their respective fields. Besides presentations, lectures and seminars, there was enough room for open discussions and networking.

1st LASTRADA User Conference

Between the 23rd and 25th of February 2011, the first LASTRADA User Conference took place at our offices in Berlin.

On three days, LASTRADA users from materials producers and independent test houses visited various lectures and seminars on topics of their respective fields. The lectures and presentations for attendees from test houses focussed more on laboratory process control and resource planning, whereas material producer’s representatives concentrated on technical questions, for instance on the LASTRADA support of reclaimed asphalt quality control.

The guest lecture of Thomas Behle from Hohenloher Asphalt Plants on the European regulations on control and usage of reclaimed asphalt was a highlight for many attendees. Not only gave Mr Behle a well structured explanation of the practical implications of the EN 13108-8. But he also described the support of LASTRADA for stockpile control and the determination of the maximum usage in asphalt recipes. Besides presentations, lectures and seminars, there was much room for open discussions. The most joyous feedback for us was the demand of making this user conference an annual event. Also, we are thankful for the opportunity to meet many people in person, who we only knew from the phone before.
